Lace fetish

This describes sexual interest in or arousal from lace clothing. It’s quite common among cross-dressers – lacy clothes and underwear are seen as hyper-feminine – but it’s by no means limited to that community. The fact that lace is very see-through means it’s common in fetish clothing too.


Lactophiliacs are generally male, and they get their kicks from seeing women lactate, sucking on their breasts or having sex with women who are lactating. There’s some crossover between this and adult baby fetishes, but lactophiles aren’t necessarily interested in any form of age play.


Super-shiny outfits are synonymous with kinks because they offer all kinds of goodies: the ability to disguise yourself, transform yourself or explore another identity; the feel of the fabric against your or your partner’s skin or outfit; the smell of the latex and so on. As with many kinks, latex/rubber/PVC fetishism has made its way into popular culture as you’ll see celebrities wear it often.

Leather and lingerie

Leather clothing and accessories are common tropes in BDSM and gay pornography, while lingerie in particular is fetishized by a wider culture. Lingerie fetishists get off on seeing, touching or wearing the items, and their fetishes can be very specific: young women in opaque black tights, muscly guys in stockings, maids in fishnets, garments made of specific fabrics and so on.


Sadism for people who don’t want to hurt anyone very much. In the psychological dictionary to describe people who are aroused by the thought or act of inflicting pain on others and it’s used here to describe acts such as spanking.

Lesbian Domination

Lipstick Fetish

The act of purchasing, putting on, wearing and sharing lipstick with a sexual arousal being the outcome.

Little Play

This is a subset of BDSM, a form of age play where one adult partner – usually a woman – takes a very submissive role and acts like a child. That might involve playing with toys, watching children’s TV or other age-appropriate activities.


There’s something joyous about people getting off on popping balloons – or not popping balloons, as for some looners, the fun is in trying to keep their balloons unpopped.
