Introducing our Kink Therapist – QB

Now I do not claim to be an expert in this field, even though one day that is my dream. I have from personal experience and study gathered a lot of information and strategies to help cope with mental health.

Everyone knows that personal health is very important, that is a given. But for some reason, no one wants to talk about mental health and no one talks about mental health within the sex worker community. Sure, it is important no matter what kind of sex worker you are, that being an escort, femdomme, findomme, cam girl, or fetishist, that you need to get tested and you need to do this regularly.

Which let’s be honest is a pain in the ass, and annoying, time-consuming. But, let’s take how long you do that every two, three or four weeks, of looking after your physical health. 2 hours? 3 hours? Now, how often do you look after your mental wellbeing? 0- 1 hour a month? How is mental health any different from physical health? It isn’t!

Why do people not look after their mental well-being? Because they think it’s not important. Now stress is called the silent killer for nothing. It is dangerous! Did you know that stress can cause acne to worsen? So, it might not be that makeup you have loved and adored over the years turning on you. The word stress originates from the Latin “Stringere” which translates to draw tight. So that backache that wasn’t there before but has suddenly occurred after doing nothing out of the ordinary? The few extra pounds that you gained, but you have been working out and eating right? You’re losing more hair than normal? This can all boil down to stress.

This is why when FFFemBoss said about her new project, I jumped at the chance to do this. I want to be able to help you to help yourself. Better yourself. Be the best version of yourself you can be. I will be writing about different topics and giving you self-help tips along the way. I hope in any way you find something useful and live a happy sex worker life.

  1. Thank you! I do try to look after my Mental Health but sometimes I need to take ‘rest days’ from Twitter and my other platforms. It’s more stressful than I’d originally thought.
