Building a Fetish Wardrobe on a Budget? It’s Possible With These Tips

Building a full fetish or BDSM wardrobe is expensive. When you first decide to go into domination or fetish work, you’re going to need some staples. You’ll need a few sexy items for cam work, clip-making, or real-time sessions and you won’t want to invest in too much latex or leather until your business takes off. Equally, your budget may not allow for a considerable outlay. Even established Dommes need to refresh their wardrobes with new items for filming. Whichever category you fall into, building fetish wardrobe on a budget has never been easier. So here’s some tips to source hot items without breaking the bank.

Online stores

I’ve picked up some amazing and cheap items from mainstream online retailers. Shein has gorgeous lingerie and PU items if you want to show off your body. They also do plus-sized clothing and lingerie. Make sure to check sizes carefully as Asian sizing tends to be much smaller than in the US or UK.

Another of my favourites for picking up cheap items is UK site Everything5Pounds. I’ve grabbed some very sexy pencil skirts there and it’s also great for fetish-style shoes. Look at these strappy heels! Gorgeous, right? Be sure to move quickly if you see something you like. Items tend to sell out fast.

Charity shops and thrift stores can turn up the odd gem that’s suitable for a fetish wardrobe if you look hard enough. Faux leather clothing or high heels aren’t an uncommon find. If you’ve only paid a few dollars for a top you can customise it and rip it up to turn it into a fetish outfit.

Sometimes dommes will sell off clothing when they have too much or are retiring. Always keep an eye out on social media.

Shop your own wardrobe

Surprisingly, you might find suitable clothing already in your closet. I tend to gravitate towards the strict teacher or boss kind of persona, so pencil skirts and blouses work very well for me. I don’t think I’ve paid more than €5 for any of these. Leather leggings can be matched with a crop top and work dresses take on a whole new vibe with a corset on top.

If you’re handy at sewing, look to see if any items you’re bored with can be customised or repurposed. A modest dress can be shortened to make it sexy, or even turned into a bodysuit.
